Awards and honorings

During its short history the Friendship Force of Varel has demonstrated diverse engagement and a wide range of innovation in the club’s activities, which was honoured with the highest awards by the International Conferences of Friendship Force. Some of them carry the signature of the former US President’s first lady and patroness of the organization for lasting years, Mrs. Rosalynn Carter

Since 2005, Horst Neumann, the honorary member of the executive committee of FF Varel has been selected as a member of the organization’s Board of Directors in Atlanta.
