Friendship Force of Varel
„It is objective of our club to facilitate friendly relationship
between people of the whole world!"
Friendship Force clubs should not be regarded as pure travel agencies.
The clubs are organizing exchanges. There are two possibilities
to learn foreign people: either as the host or as the guest
and ambassador.
„People I have never seen before should come into my house”?
No problem, you will have exchanged letters, photos and emails
before you meet each other.
As host you welcome people from all over the world in your
private home and offer board and lodging to them.
Your guests will take part in your daily routine, they will meet your
friends, neighbours and relatives and learn all about your regional
area. Programmes for the whole group of visiting ambassadors organized
by the club will provide them with additional impressions and eats up
the time rapidly.
Club-Members have the chance to join FF-travel groups as ambassadors
on outbound exchange tours where they are being hosted by clubs and
families all over the world. It is a unique experience to learn a
country and their people from their local aspect. Not places but
faces!
You are not just checking off tourist attractions, but you will become
part of a host family. As an ambassador of your country you will
overcome any possible prejudices and you are actively contributing to
international understanding, tolerance and peace. This is the
crucial point!
„I am supposed to stay with people who are not total strangers to
me?“
Don’t worry, there are no strangers, there are only friends
you have not met so far!
